GRIP is thrilled to welcome Dr. Nienke Schouten and Oona Leemans, our first two PhD candidates dedicated exclusively to post-ICU nutrition.

Nienke joins the team at Wageningen University & Research and Gelderse Vallei Hospital, led by GRIP Vice-President Prof. Dr. Arthur van Zanten, while Oona continues her research at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, guided by GRIP President Prof. Dr. Elisabeth De Waele.

Their collaborative doctoral trajectories, supported by our platinum partners, Danone-Nutricia and Baxter Healthcare, represent a significant step forward in our mission to bridge clinical practice and research excellence.
